Families, friends, and community members are celebrating the lives of the victims of flight 3407 today and Tuesday, 10 years after the plane crash in Clarence. There is a wreath laying ceremony at noon at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, followed by the placing of 51 carnations, one for every person who died. Then, Tuesday at noon there is a re-dedication ceremony for a Flight 3407 memorial at the Clarence Library. Tuesday night a memorial service will take place at the Zion Lutheran Church and then a candle light procession from the church to the crash site on Long Street with another ceremony marking the time of the crash. Among the victims of flight 3407 was Kristin Safran of Bradford.
