McKean County reported three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, two in Bradford.
The number, however, does not include the three new active cases the federal bureau of prisons reports at FCI-McKean. Officials say there is often a lag time in reporting between agencies.
Elsewhere, Forest, Jefferson and Warren counties reported no new confirmed cases. Jefferson and Warren, however, did report new deaths bringing Jefferson’s total to 89 and Warren’s to 98. Chautauqua County also reported one more death, bringing its total to 137.
No one in McKean or Potter counties is hospitalized for COVID; one person each is hospitalized in Jefferson and Warren counties; and two in Elk. Nineteen people in Cattaraugus County are hospitalized.
So far in McKean County, 1,825 have received one dose of a COVID vaccine; 1,952 people have received both doses.
You can register for a vaccine at vaccine.upmc.com. That does not reserve a vaccine, but ensures that UPMC will provide further information on scheduling an appointment as supply becomes available.
