The tournament is designed for the top seniors nationwide to display their talents for NBA and other professional scouts. Each year, 64 players are invited to take part in the four-day, 12-team tournament. A year ago, six players from the Portsmouth Invitational were selected in the NBA Draft.
For the tournament, Adams averaged 14.0 points, 4.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds while Mobley totaled 11.7 points and 6.0 rebounds. Mobley’s team finished the week 2-1 while Adams’ team went 1-2.
