The Bradford Creative and Performing Arts Center (BCPAC) will welcome the Beach Party Boys to its new Tuesday Tribute Concert Series starting in the summer of 2016.
The tribute to the Beach Boys is scheduled to hit the stage at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 9, 2016 in the Bromeley Family Theater at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
“Beach Party Boys brings you the fun, fun, fun, of California’s Summer Sun and the great music of The Beach Boys to life!” BCPAC officials said in a statement. “The show is fast paced and interactive with a focus on lots of nostalgia to awaken the teenage heart of all whom carried a transistor radio in the 60s!” Beach Party Boys reproduces the musical instrumentation, authentic look and harmony of the Beach Boys themselves.
The members of Beach Party Boys have played in other Beach Boys tribute shows over the last 25 years and have come together with the same goal in mind — to deliver a historical tribute to the Beach Boys and their fans. Audiences will be singing along to their favorites like “Barbara Ann,” “Help Me Rhonda,” “Surfin’ USA,” “Little Deuce Coupe” and “Good Vibrations.”
PNC Bank and Beefeater’s Restaurant are cosponsors of the new series. Tickets are priced at $20 each and will be available for the general public on Aug. 10. A season subscription for all six shows in the 2016 Summer Concert Series is $100 and will go on sale July 1. Information will be forthcoming at the BCPAC office 8143622522, or online at http://www.bcpac.com.
