Warren County’s Deputy Coroner has confirmed that the body of a missing Grand Island, New York, man is the body found Tuesday on the Allegheny National Forest.
63-year-old Jack Chambers was reported missing on August 14, two days after his wife died, and one day before her scheduled funeral.
The cause of death has not been determined yet. The coroner says they are waiting for medical records so they can finish their investigation.
Chambers’ vehicle was found near Jakes Rocks on August 22. Tuesday, sheriff’s deputies found his body about 75 yards down a steep hillside.
