Box Truck Hits NYS DOT Truck

A box truck driver was injured late Tuesday morning in a collision with a parked New York State DOT dump truck on Interstate 86 near the Hinsdale exit.  The driver of the box truck was flown to ECMC in Buffalo for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  A state DOT worker who was inside the parked vehicle was taken to Olean General Hospital.  Hinsdale Assistant Fire Chief Greg Church says there was a road crew patching the road and the box truck driver failed to see the truck with a lighted arrow and work zone signs up.
