The Milwaukee Brewers spanked the Pirates Wednesday night 9-4 on WESB. The Brewers beat the Pirates for the fifth straight time. Jeff Locke took the loss allowing five runs on nine hits in just 3 2/3 innings. Former Brewers star Aramis Ramirez drove in all four runs for the Pirates, including a three-run homer in the fourth. The fourth-place Brewers have won seven of their last eight against the Bucs, which leads the NL wild-card race.
