Penguins Win in a Shootout

The Penguins nipped the Carolina Hurricanes Wednesday night 3-2 in a shootout. Chris Kunitz scored in the sixth round of the shootout to give the Pens the victory. Evgeni Malkin had a goal and an assist. The Pens won all four games on their four game road trip.

Digel and Irons Win Tennis D9 Title

Bradford High’s Hilary Digel and Jodi Irons captured their second straight District 9 AAA tennis doubles title Wednesday. Digel and Irons were 7-6, 5-7, 6-2 winners in the championship match.
