A preliminary hearing was held today for Roberto Perez in front of District Justice Domenic Cercone. Perez is accused of involuntary manslaughter in the drug overdose of 25 year old Derek Clay back in October of 2016 in the city of Bradford. Perez besides the involuntary manslaughter charge also faces numerous drug charges . At his preliminary hearing today , charges were bound to court. Perez was returned to the Mckean county Jail in lieu of a half a million dollars in bail. 35 year old amber Mckinney has also been charged with providing the lethal drugs, along with Perez ,that lead to the death of Derek Clay. She remains in jail on separate drug charges.
