Mayor Tom Riel and Bradford City Council are still looking at tax increase for 2019 after approving a preliminary budget Tuesday night of 19.80 mills. Officials have pushed their second December meeting back until after the Christmas holiday to give them more time to look at the budget. Mayor Riel says they are looking for stronger enforcement of taxes and fees owed to the city in 2019. Two of the four councilmen, Dan Palmer and Tim Pecora, didn’t attend Tuesday night’s meeting.
