The City of Bradford is talking trash – because there is more than $170,000 in delinquent refuse bills.
But Mayor Tom Riel tells WESB the city is looking into turning over the past due accounts to a collection agency, which would affect the person’s credit rating. He says they are also considering posting the names of people – and businesses – who haven’t paid on the city’s website.
Riel tells us some people haven’t paid their bill in years, and told us one person who they went after set up a payment plan with District Judge Dominic Cercone’s office. If the person pays as planned, he will be caught up in 2025.
