New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill Monday banning vaping in public indoor spaces and workplaces, including restaurants and other areas where people gather. The new law adds e-cigarettes and similar products to New York’s Clean Indoor Air Act, the law banning cigarettes in bars, restaurants and other public places. The State Legislature passed the bill in June; the expanded ban takes effect in 30 days.
