Tomorrow is the festival that celebrates the area’s oil history.
Derrick Day at the Penn Brad Oil Museum on South Avenue from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is free and includes museum displays, demonstrations of early oilfield equipment, candle making, basket weaving, a barbershop quartet. and more.
You can also hear about the history of working on the oilfield from the people who actually did it.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
