Cornplanter Pipe Tomahawk Exhibit Unveiling at the Cultural Center @ Seneca-Iroquois National Museum

The Seneca-Iroquois National Museum has announced the Exhibition of the Cornplanters Pipe Tomahawk to be unveiled on March 14th at 3pm! Join them for the long anticipated unveiling and reception at 3pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Chief Cornplanter was one of the most prominent and important people in Seneca History. He was given a pipe tomahawk by George Washington. The pipe was at the NYS Museum but was stolen in the early 1900’s. By some miracle, the pipe tomahawk was anonymously returned to the New York State museum last year. The pipe will be on display at the Seneca Iroquois National Museum and you are invited to be there for the unveiling.
