Grab your lawn chairs and head to Allegany State Park’s Quaker Beach area to celebrate our nation’s independence! The fun starts at 2:00 p.m. on July 3rd with a chicken barbecue (until sold out).  Later on, listen to live music, enjoy vendors and spend time at the beach!

Live music will include Artist in Residence, Keith James followed up by headliner, Kevin McCarthy.  Keith James is an accomplished pop singer/songwriter from Buffalo, NY. His soulful vocals and infectious stage presence have landed him success not only on the local stage, but the national as well. One of Keith’s most notable feats was appearing on season 6 of NBC’s “The Voice”. Since then he’s gone on to do special events for the Buffalo Sabers, Bills, and many others in great local and regional venues.

Singer and songwriter Kevin McCarthy, has been living his dream career as a professional musician for over 16 years.  He had his first band in high school called “Outlet.” Since then, Kevin has played in the band “Hollywood” and then co-founded McCarthyizm with his brother, which quickly became one of the top bands in Western New York. About 10 years later, Kevin began his solo career, playing throughout Western New York and Canada. He was twice voted top solo artist and was inducted in to the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 2009. He is an active songwriter and has released numerous CDs with McCarthyizm and won high praise with his first solo CD “High on You”.  He is currently working on his next release, and also has a goal of having songs placed in television shows and movies.

Capping off this fun-filled night will be a spectacular fireworks display over the waters of Quaker Lake! For more information contact the Quaker Rental office at 716-354-2182.
