Take a moment to make the end of your winter season a little more relaxing. Join us on Saturday, March 16th for “By the Fireside” in the Red House Administration Building lobby. This month’s featured performance is by Jamie Haight. Jamie began playing guitar at the age of 9. He played many gigs and dances in high school, entertaining crowds with songs from Harry Chapin, The Five Man Electric Band, and Nirvana.
Later he played with bands such as Djava, Sweet Jane, and China Phrog to name a few. Jamie was a member of the Chautauqua Area Musician Program’s “Fantasy Rock Star League,” and was voted Chautauqua County’s best lead guitarist in 2005. Over the last several years Jamie has done mostly solo work, performing at area venues and recording albums. Jamie loves playing music and teaching the many fun aspects of playing guitar.
