The American Cancer Society’s annual relay for Life begins today at 4pm at Pitt Bradford. 14 teams, up from 12 a year ago, will take part and have a goal of $55,000 for the 2018 relay. The opening ceremony is at 5:30pm. The late Mike Walter, one of the major supporters of Relay for Life, will then be honored with a moment of silence. And, the popular luminary ceremony is at 8pm this evening. Kim Bonham will be broadcasting live this afternoon on WESB and the Hero from 5 until 7pm.
Saturday, the survivor’s ceremony is at noon and closing ceremonies at 3pm.
