Downtown Bradford will play host to a weeklong Quilt Hunt, taking place from Saturday March 17th until Saturday March 24th. This hunt, in honor of March being National Quilt Month and March 17th being National Quilting Day, will allow participants to travel from shop to shop in search of 10-15 beautifully crafted quilts.
“It is a springtime tradition in many areas for quilters to hang out or display their quilts in order to “air them out” after winter” says event coordinator and owner of the Little Fabric Garden, Judy Brown. “While we won’t be placing our quilts outside, they will be “aired” in the various shops in our downtown for all to enjoy.”
Quilt hunters can pick up a Quilt Hunt Card at the Little Fabric Garden beginning Saturday March 17th , and will have one week to find all of the quilts. The Quilt Hunt Cards will have a photo of each quilt participants will be searching for. All completed Cards must be returned to the Little Fabric Garden by Saturday march 24th to be considered for prizes.
