Former Pennsylvania state Attorney General Kathleen Kane was sentenced Monday to 10 to 23 months in prison for lying to a state grand jury and leaking secret investigative files to embarrass a rival prosecutor. The 50 year-old Kane was convicted earlier this year of perjury and obstruction of justice. Judge Wendy Demchick-Alloy told the court that Kane assumed an “off with your heads” mentality as she ran the state’s top law enforcement agency.
