Farrell to Serve as Parade Grand Marshal


Bradford native Walter Farrell has been named Grand Marshal for this year’s Memorial Day parade in Bradford.

Farrell served in the US Army during the Vietnam War  and received three bronze stars for service in three campaign.

The Memorial Day parade starts at 10:15 a.m. on Main Street. A service will follow in Veterans Square, where Ron Peters, Commander of VFW Post 212, will give the address. Following that, a service will be held on the Mechanic Street bridge to honor service members who died at sea.
