New York State Police charged 39-year-old Sean A. Tucker with felony criminal contempt with a previous conviction within 5 years.

Upon arrest, Tucker was additionally charged with three separate counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Tucker was remanded to jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Karl Renner was sentenced to 32 to 64 months in state prison on charges of felony Failing to Verify under the sex offender notification act; felony Carrying a Firearm without a License and DUI.

Renner is not eligible for any early parole and he must submit a DNA sample.

Allen York received a sentence of 20 to 40 months and is not eligible for any early parole.

He also must submit a DNA sample.

Pittsburgh beat Seattle 5-1 behind a strong outing from Bubba Chandler — five-and-a-third innings, just one run allowed. Henry Davis and Brandon Lowe both went deep, with Davis driving in two and Lowe adding two RBI of his own. Gregory Soto and Mason Montgomery locked down the back end of the bullpen.

Three straight wins to close out the series gives Pittsburgh real momentum as the team hits the unofficial halfway mark of the season — eighty-one games down, eighty-one to go.

Alex Tuch is heading to the Washington Capitals in a sign-and-trade, signing an eight-year extension worth ten-point-five million annually. In return, Buffalo picks up a third-round pick in this year’s draft and forward David Kampf, who’s a pending unrestricted free agent himself.

The thirty-year-old winger — who grew up in Western New York — tried to work out a deal with his hometown team, but the two sides couldn’t close the gap before free agency. Tuch leaves having put together a strong final season in Buffalo, scoring thirty-three goals and adding thirty-three assists as the Sabres returned to the playoffs for the first time since 2011.

It’s a significant raise for Tuch, more than doubling the four-point-seven-five million cap hit he carried on his previous deal with Vegas.

New York fell six-to-three to the Red Sox, and the story wasn’t the pitching — it was four errors that turned what should’ve been a quality start into a loss. Cam Schlittler was actually excellent, striking out nine over five innings without allowing an earned run, but the defense behind him let four unearned runs cross the plate.

Offensively, the Yankees did have some bright spots — José Caballero hit a solo home run, and Paul Goldschmidt had two hits and an RBI. But it wasn’t enough to overcome the mistakes.

32-year-old Garret Homell was sentenced to state prison for 2 to 5 years on charges of felony Aggravated Assault, felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Simple Assault and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

The judge recommended to the Department of Corrections that Homell not be permitted to have contact with the victim and also required him to submit a DNA sample.

He is not eligible for any early parole.

Olean Police charged 18-year-old Devan Smith Bell for felony Assault, felony possession of a weapon and Endangering the welfare of a child.

The Victim was transported to E.C.M.C. and is recovering.

City of Bradford Police charged 52-year-old Sharon Kay McCullen with receiving stolen property.

The bicycle belonged to a young boy and was eventually recovered after it was rode to the South Kendall Avenue area before being ditched.

Pennsylvania State Police charged 34-year-old Natasha Canfield with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault and harassment.

Canfield was remanded to the McKean County Jail in lieu of $10,000.
