Fred Fesenmyer, president and CEO of Minard Run Oil Company will receive the Penn Brad Oil Museum’s second Annual Yellow Dog Award.
The Yellow Dog award is presented for outstanding service to the museum and the community at large.
Minard Run Oil Company is the oldest family–owned independent producer in the world, having been established in 1875 by Senator Lewis Emery Jr., as Emery Manufacturing. It was incorporated in 1907 as Minard Run Oil Company.
Fesenmyer is Emery’s great-grandson, and began working for the company in 1976.
He has been an active member of the Penn Brad Oil Museum for 40 years and has served as vice president of the board of directors for the past 10 years.
Fesenmyer also serves on several local and industry boards.
