Fire heavily damaged an apartment house in Coudersport Monday evening, but no one was hurt.
Coudersport firefighters were called to the building on Route 6 at about 6 p.m. and called a second alarm at 6:20 p.m.
About 70 firefighters from six departments answered the call, and they were able to quickly bring the fire under control. They said it spread from the first floor to the attic.
Due to fire and water damage several tenants were displaced and are staying with friends and family as well as being assisted by the Red Cross.
They were on the scene until around 8:30 p.m.
