The Cleveland Indians shut out the Chicago Cubs 6-0 in the World Series opener Tuesday night in Cleveland. Indians starter Corey Kluber was dominating thru six innnings of work and combined with Andrew Miller and Cody Allen for 15 strikeouts, two shy of the World Series record. Miller worked out of a bases loaded, no-out jam in the seventh. Robert Perez led the Indians offense with two homers and four RBI. Perez had a solo home run and later a three run shot. Francisco Lindor added three hits as the Indians improved to 8-1 this postseason. Game two is tonight, also in Cleveland.
