Indians Win 21st Straight Game

The Cleveland Indians dumped the Detroit Tigers Wednesday 5-3 to win their record tying American League 21st straight win.  Jay Bruce hit a three-run homer and Mike Clevinger improved to 10-5 with the win, the second longest streak in baseball since 1901.  The Tribe are within five wins of the 1916 New York Giants, who won 26 straight without a loss but whose century-old mark includes a tie.
