As a follow up to a previously aired story, the five Jamestown fires that happened overnight on Friday have been ruled by fire department officials as arson. The causes of the five fires, four at vacant buildings across Jamestown, have been ruled arson though no specific details about how they were started are available. Fire investigators say they have a good idea of how the fires may have been started but have not made an official release of information. The fires occurred at East 6th Street, Crossman Street, West 10th Street, and West 11th Street. Only one firefighter sustained minor injuries during all of the five firefighting operations and the connection and possible motive for the fires is still unknown at this time.
