The son of former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, serving years for child molestation, was himself sentenced to prison Friday on child sexual abuse charges. 42-year-old Jeffrey Sandusky pleaded guilty in September to 14 counts including charges of statutory sexual assault and solicitation of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. Sandusky is accused of pressuring a teenage girl to send him naked photos and asking her teen sister to perform a sex act. The texts also alleged that Sandusky told the girls, “It’s not weird because he studied medicine,” and directed the girl, “…to not show these texts to anyone.” Sandusky’s attorney said there was never and physical contact between his client and the victims. Sandusky was sentenced to 3 ½ to 7 years in prison with one year of probation after release.
