Kasey Kahne earned a huge win Sunday as the sun set at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The win launched Kahne from 22nd in the standings and into the 16-driver playoffs. An 18-time winner in the Cup Series he hadn’t won in 102 races and had missed the playoffs in 2015 and 16. Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. were involved in a fiery wreck with 50 laps remaining in the Brickyard 400,a wreck that Kahne survived. Brad Keslowski was second, Ryan Newman third, Joey Logano fourth and Matt Kenseth fifth. Dale Earnhardt Jr.s was involved in a wreck and 36th.
