One of the people charged in connection to the 2015 death of George Duke Jr. has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
45-year-old James Luper of Erie also pleaded to conspiracy to delivery of a designer drug.
Court papers say Luper, along with 28-year-old Rachel Reid of Bradford, sold a mix of heroin and fentanyl to 46-year-old Larry Shroyer of Derrick City, who then allegedly provided it to Duke.
Reid is scheduled for a Last Day to Plead on September 20. Shroyer has said he wants to go to trial. His next court day is scheduled for next Thursday.
