A Bradford man already facing a strangulation charge is now accused of intimidating his victim.
Court records say the victim was at the office of District Judge Dominic Cercone to testify in the case against 46-year-old David Kelsey and, when they were both in the waiting room, he walked past her and said, “If you were smart wouldn’t have shown up.” The victim took this as a threat and contacted the district attorney’s office. Police say she was visibly shaken and upset, and fearful.
The original charges stem from an incident on November 28. Kelsey was charged with strangulation and simple assault.
