A Bradford man, who is on parole for several burglaries, is facing a new burglary charge. Court records say that 20 year-old Derek Steck took an Apple iPad Air and two cartons of cigarettes from a home on East Main Street in Bradford. Steck had a GPS device on, as a condition of his parole, when he committed the burglary earlier this month.
The GPS showed that Steck was at 580 East Main Street where the items were taken between 1:28 and 2am on August 6. Steck was sentenced in June of 2014 to three to eight year
s in state prison for burglarizing the Learning Center, the Farm Family Restaurant, St. Bernard’s Church and the First Presbyterian Church.
