A man accused of putting a knife to a woman’s throat and threatening to kill her is behind bars.
26-year-old Steven Crabb Jr. of Scio, New York, was arraigned early this morning by District Judge David Engman on charges of strangulation, aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment.
The alleged incident happened Sunday in Port Allegany when he choked, punched and kicked the 27-year-old victim during an argument about her new boyfriend.
Crabb’s bail is set at $30,000.
