A Derrick City man who defrauded at least 10 people out of a total more than $50,000 will spend five years on probation in Cattaraugus County.
44-year-old Timothy Keller ran a scheme to get property from the people, and made false entries into business records to hide the scheme between January of 2007 and September of 2014. He was originally charged with 57 counts of falsifying business records.
Prosecutors want Keller to pay $50,000 in restitution. A hearing on that matter has been scheduled for August 29.
