Paul Morrisroe’s attorney Jim Miller is asking McKean County court for a change in venue for his client in his homicide by DUI case scheduled to being on May 16 in the county. Miller filed the necessary paper work Wednesday saying that radio newscasts, newspaper articles, social media attacks and the “Justice for Dakota” family and friends bumper stickers and roadside signs have made it difficult for Morrisroe to get a fair trial in McKean County. President Judge John Pavlock could rule to change the location of the trial which would allow an outside jury to hear the case. Morrisroe is accused of the hit and run accident which claimed the life of Dakota Hinaman last June on Route 646 in Cyclone.
