News Conference Regarding Death of Toddler Set for This Afternoon

Chautauqua County District Attorney David Foley and Sheriff Joe Gerace will be holding a news conference later this afternoon concerning the death of 2-year-old Joshua Jock Jr.

Joshua was found unresponsive at Little Racer’s Day Care in the Town of North Harmony Monday night. He was then taken to WCA Hospital in Jamestown, where he was pronounced dead.

A 14-year-old girl, who is related to Joshua, was caring for him and a 16-month-old girl at the time. The toddler’s death is not related to the day care, which doubles as the owner’s home.

We’ll bring you the latest information following the news conference.
