One person was shot during a burglary and attempted robbery in Brocton, New York, late last night.
Sheriff’s deputies say three people went to the house and got into a fight with two people who live there, one of whom shot one of the three alleged burglars.
35-year-old Lamar Matthew of Portland, New York, and 39-year-old Shane Wynn-Hopkins of Meadville ran from the house, but were found in Westfield and arrested. Deputies didn’t release the name of the person who was shot, but say that person was taken by Star Flight to ECMC in Buffalo for non-life threatening injuries.
