Today marks the opening day of Pennsylvania’s antlered deer season. The 14 day season opens under mostly sunny skies and with temperatures expected to get into the middle 40’s today in McKean, Warren, Potter, Elk and Cameron counties. Deer season runs through December 12. Around 950,000 deer licenses were sold. The Pennsylvania Game Commission says the ratio of bucks to does is higher this year.
