The Pittsburgh Penguins will open their season at home on October 4 to the defending Stnaley Cupo champion Washington Capitals. The Penguins will play outdoors again this coming season when they face the Flyers at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia at 8 p.m. on Feb. 23. Eighteen of the Penguins’ 41 home games will be played on weekends, including Friday nights, Saturday nights, Saturday afternoons and Sunday afternoons.
