The Pittsburgh Pirates downed the Milwaukee Brewers Monday night 4-2 on WESB. Gregory Polanco had two doubles, two RBI and threw out a potential go-ahead run at the plate to lead the Pirates past the Brewers. Polanco finished 4 for 4 and is hitting .446 this month. Francisco Cervelli had two hits for the Pirates, who pulled within six games of the first-place Brewers. Chad Kuhl got a no decision in his start allowing two runs on four hits in five plus innings of work. And tonight outfielder Starling Marte returns from an 80-game performance-enhancing drugs suspension.
