The Pittsburgh Pirates dumped the Milwaukee Brewers in 10 innings Wednesday night 3-2 on WESB. Pirates rookie Max Moroff’s walk-off RBI single to center in the 10th won it for the Bucs. The Bucs blew a lead in the eighth before tying it in the ninth on Francisco Cervelli’s RBI single. Tony Watson pitched a scoreless 10th for the win. Pirates starter Gerrit Cole struck out a season-high 10 in a no decision. The Pirates, who have won the first three games of the series with the Brew Crew, have won five of six games since the All Star break and have pulled to with- in four games of the first-place Brewers.
