The Pirates dumped the Minnesota Twins Tuesday night 8-7 on WESB. Jung Ho-Kang hit a tiebreaking home run off Twins All-Star closer Glen Perkins to give the Bucs the win. Kang had two hits, scored two runs and was hit by a pitch. He is hitting .441 in his last nine games. Francisco Cervelli had three hits for Pittsburgh. Pirates All-Star closer Mark Melancon earned the save retiring five batters after the Twins tied the game with a four-run rally in the eighth.
