Port Allegany Man Killed in Police Shootout


A Port Allegany man, who was wanted on a warrant for threatening to kill another man on Sunday, was shot and killed in a shootout with state troopers Monday afternoon.  State police say that 42-year-old Chad Setzer died in the exchange of gunfire after troopers tried serve an arrest warrant on him at a residence at 6147 Route 155 near Port Allegany.  Police had been looking for Setzer after an incident Sunday in Liberty Township when he allegedly threatened to kill a man and damaged a woman’s vehicle.  The shooting remains under investigation of the McKean County District Attorney’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police.
