Police have received toxicology results on the driver in a crash that killed her and three other people on Route 219 near Town Line Road last month.
They say 30-year-old Ashley Smith was under the influence of drugs and alcohol on the morning of April 27.
Smith was driving an SUV north on Route 219 when she went into the southbound lane and collided with a pickup truck driven by 36-year-old Michael Clawson of Mount Jewett.
Smith, 31-year-old Teonna Herring, and a 12-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl who were Smith’s stepchildren were pronounced dead at the scene.
Clawson suffered serious injuries and was flown to a UPMC Hamot. He’s still recovering from his injuries.
