This time of year you can buy just about anything you can think of that’s pumpkin scented or pumpkin spiced.
But one woman has been making a certain pumpkin-flavored breakfast food long before it became trendy. New York Restaurateur and cookbook author Sarabeth Levine has been making pumpkin waffles (pictured) in her New York City restaurants for about 35 years.
And she didn’t forget apples. Two of the apple recipes in Sarabeth’s Good Morning Cookbook are apple custard cake and apple cider French toast.
