Pouring rain didn’t dampen the spirits of Pumpkin Fest organizers and vendors, and didn’t keep fun seekers away either.
Hundreds of people donned their rain gear and carried umbrellas while checking out the craft, vendor and food booths that lined both sides of Main Street and part of Chambers Street. Inside events were held at the Seneca Building, which was hopping all afternoon, as well as the Dickinson Center at 9 Main Street. The Queen Bs dance troupe from Studio B Dance Academy were able to move into St. Bernard auditorium thanks to Father Ray Gramata.
Pumpkin Fest organizer Kim Graham tells WESB that the vendors were all happy and told her to sign them up for next year.
Graham added that after good weather for five years, we shouldn’t be too upset — or surprised — by one bad year.
