A controversy has arisen over a ball used in Thursday’s exhibition game between the Steelers and the Eagles.
According to Howard Eskin of Philadelphia radio station WIP, a deflated ball was used during the third quarter of the Steelers’ 31-14 win over the Eagles. Eskin claims he saw the ball after an incomplete pass by Mason Rudolph, and described it as looking “like a marshmallow.”
Eskin also says that the NFL has the ball, and is currently investigating.
