Sabres Fall to Avalanche


The Colorado Avalanche whipped the Buffalo Sabres Thursday night 6-1.  The Av’s scored power play goals 2:25 apart early in the first period and never looked back.  Nathan Beaulieu had the lone goal for Buffalo and Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, the first overall draft pick this past June, got his first career point with an assist on Beaulieu’s goal.
