The Sabres have fired both General Manager Tim Murray and Coach Dan Bylsma. Murray met with owner Terry Pegula Wednesday to wrap up the season. It’s clear the owner didn’t like what he heard and saw, announcing both the GM and coach have been relieved of their duties. The Sabres fired the pair after a 33-37-12 campaign. The team finished last in the Atlantic Division and 14th in the Eastern Conference. The Sabres have not made the playoffs since 2011. The Sabres have called a press conference for Friday morning to discuss the firings and going forward.
