The Buffalo Sabres scored 4 goals and their first win since March 1st last night playing host to the St. Louis Blues
The Sabres struck first in the largely back and forth contest Sunday night. A 3-3 score at the end of regulation, would send the game into overtime. Sam Reinhart almost won it in the final seconds of OT but came up just shy. He would make up for it in the shootout. Jack Eichel and Tyler Bozak traded goals to open the shootout and Reinhard scored on Buffalo’s final attempt, which would be the game winner after former teammate Ryan O’Reilly missed the Blues last chance, leaving the Sabres the 4-3 voctory.
