The Bradford School Board last night approved a $39.4 million budget that will raise taxes for the average homeowner by about $28.
Board member Pat Vigliotta explained that health care and retirement funding make up the majority of the increase, adding that the board needs to take a look at what can be done about that.
This is the first time in 14 years the board has passed a budget with a tax increase.
